How to Get Sega ROMs Onto a PS3

Getting Sega Genesis ROMs onto your Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) is simple. Knowing what to do with the ROM files is a little more complex. To use the ROM files, you need to first install a Sega emulator. The Sega emulator is what controls and loads the ROM file on the Sony PS3.
