How to Get a PlayStation 3 to Turn on AOC TV

HDMI Cable

  Connect one end of the HDMI cable into the "HDMI OUT" connector on the back of your PS3, then connect the other end into an open "HDMI IN" connector on the back of your AOC TV.

  Turn on your PS3 gaming console, then turn on the AOC TV.

  Press the "HDMI" button on the remote control to select the HDMI input the console is connected to. The PS3's XMB menu is displayed on the screen.

Component AV CAble

  Connect the AV connector on the cable to the AV port on the back of your PS3, then connect the five pins to the "COMPONENT VIDEO IN" ports on the back of your AOC TV. The pins and the ports are color-coded, so match them. Fasten them securely.

  Turn on your PS3 gaming console, then turn on the AOC TV.

  Press the "Source" button on the remote control to display the "Source List." Scroll down the list and select the input channel the console is connected to display its XMB menu.

S-Video Cable

  Connect the AV connector on the cable to the AV port on the back of your PS3, then connect the three pins to the "S VIDEO IN" connector on the back of your AOC TV.

  Turn on your PS3 gaming console, then turn on the AOC TV.

  Press the "Source" button on the remote control to display the "Source List." Scroll down the list and select the input channel the console is connected to display its XMB menu.

AV Cable

  Connect the AV connector on the cable to the AV port on the back of your PS3, then connect the yellow, red and white pins to the "VIDEO IN" connector on your AOC TV. The pins and the inputs are color-coded.
