Instructions
Check the audio cables and make sure they are tightly and properly connected. For example, if you're using RCA cables, make sure the red and white pins are connected to the red and white inputs on your PS3 gaming console and TV.
Disconnect the audio cables and inspect them for wear and tear. If the pins or parts of the cable are damaged, replace them. If your AV cable is damaged, try using another cable.
Remove electrical appliances from the area around the console. Electrical appliances can cause signal interference that may cause buzzing sounds.
Select "Settings" from the PS3's XMB menu displayed on your TV screen and select "Sound Settings." Select "Audio Output Settings" and select a setting that matches the AV cable or device in use.
Keep the cable terminals away from each other. If the audio pins touch each other, a buzzing sound may be produced.
