How to Get Genesis Plus GX to Work on PS3

The Genesis Plus GX PS3 application brings the fun of Sega Genesis games to the Sony PlayStation 3. Getting the application to work takes a little knowledge on how to install package files, but once installed it can be run like any other PS3 application.

  Download the Genesis Plus GX PKG file from the developer's website or from a download mirror.

  Connect the USB flash drive to the computer and drag the PKG file onto the USB flash drive icon on the computer's desktop.

  Pull the USB flash drive out of the computer and insert it into the PS3's USB port. Turn the PS3 on.

  Select "Install Package Files" from the PS3's menu. Select the "Genesis Plus GX" PKG file and it will install.

  Press the "O" button on the PS3 controller to return to the PS3 menu. Select the "Genesis Plus GX" icon on the PS3 menu and the emulator will start.
