How to Change Your Region on a PS3

The Sony PlayStation 3 is a Blu-ray and DVD player as well as a video game console. When you set up your PlayStation Network ID, you must select your region and some video types will only play on a specific region. If you move to a different region and would like to change your PlayStation Network ID region to your current location, you can do so at anytime.

     Turn on your PS3 console.

     Scroll to the ̶0;Information Board̶1; on the Home screen.

     Select the ̶0;Information Board.̶1;

   • 4

     Press the green triangle button on your PS3 controller.

   • 5

     Scroll down and select the ̶0;Settings̶1; menu.

   • 6

     Scroll down, select your new region from the list, then select ̶0;Save.̶1;
