How to Navigate Folders Using TVersity on a PS3

TVersity is a media server applications that lets you stream videos, pictures and music from your computer to any media server-enabled device. Once the application is installed on your computer, you can add files and folders that contain the media you wish to stream through the TVersity GUI. Since the PS3 is able to automatically detect the TVersity media server, you can navigate through these TVersity media folders on your PS3 just as you would any other folders.

  Turn on your PS3 system and scroll over to the section of the XrossMediaBar that corresponds to the type of content that you want to stream: to stream movies, scroll over to the "Video" section; to stream images, scroll over to the "Photo" section; to stream music, scroll over to the "Music" section.

  Scroll down to the "TVersity Media Server" icon beneath the appropriate XMB heading and press the "X" button.

  Highlight the folder that you want to open and press the "X" button or the "Right" button on the controller's D-Pad to open the folder.

  Repeat Step 3 to navigate through the TVersity folders until you reach the desired media file, then highlight it and press the "X" button to begin streaming the content.
