How to Install PSN Games From a USB

The PlayStation Network is an online service accessible to users of Sony̵7;s PlayStation 3. The network allows users to download movies, music, pictures and games directly onto the PlayStation 3. Files downloaded from the PlayStation Network can be accessed by navigating through the PlayStation 3̵7;s Xmedia bar. The PlayStation 3 can install content from a USB flash directly to the Xmedia bar.

Instructions

      Turn on the PS3 by pressing the center "PlayStation" button on the PS3 Dual Shock controller.

      Insert the USB Flash drive into a USB port on the front of the PS3.

      Navigate through the Xmedia bar until you reach the ̶0;games̶1; icon. Scroll down and select the ̶0;USB Flash Disk̶1; option with the "X" button on the controller.

      Select the game file that you want to install and press the ̶0;triangle̶1; button on the PS3 Dual Shock controller.

      Select the ̶0;copy̶1; option from the menu. The options menu will close after selecting the ̶0;copy̶1; option.

      Highlight the game and press the ̶0;X̶1; button on the controller to select it.
