How to Delete a Sub Account on a PS3

The PlayStation 3 game console allows for the creation of multiple user accounts. These accounts store various information, such as save data, bookmarks, theme settings and user messages. These accounts are designed to keep each person's data separate. If you no longer have a need for a particular user account, you can delete it. However, a user account can only be deleted if multiple accounts exist on your system. The undesired account is deleted from the PlayStation 3's main menu.

     Sign in to the user account you want to delete from your PS3.

     Select the user icon.

   • 3

     Press the "Triangle" button on the PS3 controller.

   • 4

     Select "Delete." A confirmation prompt will appear to confirm your decision. Select "Yes." This removes the account from the system.
