How to Hook Up Your Router to Your PS3 to Make It a Wired Connection

The PlayStation 3 includes a built-in Ethernet adapter that allows you to connect the PS3 directly to your router using an Ethernet cable. A wired connection is generally more reliable than a wireless connection and is easier to set up. Once connected to the router, the PS3 will have access to media servers also connected to the router and its Internet connection.
