How to Acquire Sandal Chops in Arcadia Final Fantasy XII?

The Sandal Wood Chops in "Final Fantasy 12" are essential to gaining access to all areas of the town Archades, in the Arcadia Empire. You trade in Pine Wood Chops to gain the Sandal Wood Chops from Chops Masters. Once you acquire the Sandal Wood Chops, the final two areas in Archades opens, and you can finish the sidequests in this town.

Instructions

- 1
  Go to Archades and press "x" to talk to the inhabitants of the town. Go through the dialog options until you see a highlighted phrase.

  Go to the other NPCs in the immediate area and talk to them until you find the one that uses that same phrase. When you "match" up the NPCs, you receive a Pine Wood Chop. You can match 28 times, split between four different city areas -- Molberry, Trant, Nibasse and Rienna.

  Enter any of the stores in Archades and press "x" to talk to the Chop Master. Choose "Nothing" and press "x." Press "x" to talk to the Chop Master again and choose the "Buy Chops" option if you did not get all 28 Pine Wood Chops needed to open up the sidequest. The Chop Master sells the Pine Wood Chops for 20,000 GIL per piece.

  Press "x" to talk to the Chop Master after gaining 28 Pine Wood Chops. Select "Trade for Sandal Wood Chops" to receive the Sandal Chop and access the rest of the city.
