How to Use EVO on a PS3

EVO, shorthand for the Evolution Championship Series, can be watched only on the PlayStation 3 game console. Using PlayStation Home, you can watch players from around the world compete in the latest fighting games. EVO 2011's lineup includes "Super Street Fighter 4," "Mortal Kombat 9," "Tekken 6," "Blazblue" and "Marvel vs. Capcom 3."

Instructions

  Turn on your PlayStation 3 console.

  Scroll to the "PlayStation Network" menu on your home screen, then scroll down to "PlayStation Home." Download "PlayStation Home" if you do not already have it installed.

  Launch "PlayStation Home." If you have not used "Home" before, you'll need to create an avatar by following the on-screen instructions.

  Direct your avatar to leave its apartment, entering "Home's" central plaza. If you have never visited this area before, you will be prompted to download the necessary data before you can visit the central plaza.

  Head forward, then turn right after entering the plaza, moving toward the movie theater.

  Enter the theater; again, if you have not visited this area before, "Home" will download the requisite data first.

  Watch the trailer for EVO in the hallway.

  Enter the dedicated auditorium set up for EVO's live stream. This auditorium will be accessible only during the tournament.
