Log in to your PlayStation Network account.
Access the "PlayStation Store" from the "PlayStation Network" section on the XMB -- or cross media bar.
Select the "Video" tab at the top-left corner to browse the available movies. There are a number of video sections including new releases, top downloads and high definition. You can also browse movies by genre.
Choose a movie to download. Once you have selected a title, the video details screen appears -- letting you know if the movie is available to rent or own.
Choose the option that indicates you wish to purchase the movie. The site asks if you wish to rent or own the movie. Select "Own" to bring up another page with more video details. Select "Buy Now" to go to the purchase confirmation page, or select "Add to Cart" to continue browsing for more titles.
Proceed to the purchase confirmation page, when you are finished browsing. The list of movies you have selected to purchase appears. Click "Confirm Purchase" to pay for the movies. The amount of money you have on your account is displayed in the top-right corner of the screen next to "Wallet." If you have insufficient funds, you may be prompted to add money to your wallet. When confirmed successfully, the purchase completion page appears.
Click on the "Download" tab next to the name of the movie on the purchase completion page, to begin downloading the movie. Once the movie finishes downloading, you can watch it by selecting it in the "Video" section on the XMB.
