How to Get SSJ3 Vegeta

In "Dragon Ball Z," Vegeta never achieved the level of Super Saiyan 3, keeping him permanently lagging behind Goku's power level, much to his chagrin. This came to a head during the "Maijin Buu" saga, when Goku revealed he'd been holding back his SSJ3 transformation during their fight. In the PlayStation 3 game "Dragon Ball: Raging Blast," you get the chance to unlock a hypothetical SSJ3 Vegeta, so if you're a Vegeta fan, you can have him prove his superiority to Goku once and for all -- at least in this game.

Instructions

  Start a file in "Dragon Battle Collection" mode. This is a replay of the story from "Dragon Ball Z" in which you earn stars by completing objectives in each stage. Complete the story mode once. Go back into any previously completed stage and access the menu. Select the new option called "Mission."

  Set the difficulty to "Hard" and play through each saga again. Every mission awards you one of its three available stars for completing it at this level, so playing through the entire story mode excluding the 18 "What-If Stories" will get you 85 stars. You may want to play in "Dojo" mode to boost your playing skills before attempting this.

  Go back to the saga menu after you have 20 stars. Scroll left or right until you access the Star Shop. Scroll to "Secret Battle 47: The Strongest Super Saiyan 3" and purchase it. Complete this newly unlocked mission, and Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta will be available.
