Plug one end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI port on the back of your PS3 system. Plug the opposite end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI port on the back of your television.
Plug the headset's cable into the in-line audio controller cable that came with the headset. Plug the green 3.5mm plug on the in-line audio controller cable into the RCA connection cable that came with the headset.
Plug the AV adapter end of the AV cable that came with your PS3 system into the AV adapter port on the back of your PS3 system.
Plug the AV adapter's red and white audio plugs into the red and white ports on the RCA connection cable. Your PS3 system should now be connected to the television via the HDMI cable and connected to the headset via the AV cable.
Turn on the PS3 console and scroll over to the "Settings" section of the XrossMediaBar. Scroll down to the "Sound Settings" option and press the "X" button. Scroll down to the "Audio Output Settings" and press the "X" button.
Select the "Audio Input Connector/SCART/AV Multi" option on the "Audio Output Settings" screen and press the "X" button to save the settings.
Return to the "Settings" section of the XMB. Scroll down to the "Accessory Settings" option and press the "X" button. Scroll down to the "Audio Device Settings" and press the "X" button.
Select your Tritton headset from the list of audio devices on the "Audio Device Settings" screen and press the "X" button to save the settings.
