Learn the Maps
It is much easier to chase down your targets and escape from your pursuers if you are familiar with your surroundings. As you play each map, take some time to notice different hiding spots, ̶0;chase breakers̶1; and any dead ends. Good hiding spots are invaluable. Not only can you hide to avoid being assassinated, if you successfully assassinate your target from a hiding spot, such as a bale of hay, you will earn extra points. When being chased, if you know where the closest ̶0;chase breaker̶1; is you can head straight for it, effectively ending the chase and escaping without harm. If you are the one doing the chasing, try to force your target into a dead end where you can easily assassinate them and earn your points.
Keep Moving
When you assassinate a target, your true identity is revealed, which gives your pursuer a quick chance to off you. Remember, after you make a kill, escape the area as quickly as possible to avoid being assassinated yourself. Once you have left the scene of the kill, try to blend in with the crowd or hide until your next target is assigned. Also avoid staying in the same place for too long, which is often a dead giveaway to your pursuers.
Be Discreet
Keep in mind as you hunt your targets that you are also being pursued. Anything you do that makes you stand out from the crowd, such as running, climbing walls or attacking another player, is a dead giveaway to your pursuers. Perform these types of actions with discretion, only when absolutely necessary. If you spend the duration of the match walking around on the rooftops or sprinting through the crowds, you will be killed before you know it.
Confuse Pursuers
If you can con one of your pursuers into killing the wrong target, you will earn points and your pursuer will no longer be able to assassinate you. You can blend in with a group of lookalikes, hide next to a lookalike or wear a disguise. If your pursuer kills a civilian, that will also break their cover, leaving them open to being assassinated themselves.
