How to See the PS3 Slim on the Network

In August 2009, Sony released the PlayStation 3 Slim model, which features a thinner body and lower price than the original PS3. Like the original model, the PS3 Slim has a built-in Wi-Fi radio that lets the console connect to nearby wireless networks. An Internet connection is required for online gaming and other PS3 features, such as PlayStation Home and the PlayStation Store. To see the PS3 Slim on your home network, you must go through the Wi-Fi setup process.
