How to Get a Game Out of the PS3 Slim

The original Sony PlayStation 3, commonly shortened to PS3, was about the size of a VCR. A few years after it debuted, Sony released a smaller version, which many people refer to as the PS3 Slim. The PS3 Slim plays discs just like the larger version, including Blu-rays and DVDs. When a disc is placed into the PS3 Slim, it will not come out of the system until you tell the PS3 Slim to eject it by pressing a button.

     Press the "Power" button, which is on the right of the system, underneath the disc tray. In order for you to be able to remove a disc, the PS3 must be turned on.

     Press the "Eject" button, which is the circular button just below the center of the disc tray. The disc slides halfway out of the disc tray.

     Grab the disc with your hand and slide the disc out of the tray. Place the disc into a case for safekeeping.
