Plug one end of a CAT5 or CAT6 Ethernet patch cable into the Ethernet port on one of the PS3 consoles. Plug the other end of the cable into a LAN port on the SOHO router.
Power up one of the PS3 consoles. Use a game controller to go to the ̶0;Toolbox̶1; (Settings) item. Go to the ̶0;Globe̶1; (Network Settings) item. Go to ̶0;Internet Connection Settings̶1; then go to ̶0;Yes̶1; when a notification appears stating that the PS3 will be disconnected from the Internet.
Go to ̶0;Custom̶1; and select ̶0;Wired Connection.̶1; Go to and select the ̶0;Auto-Detect̶1; setting when the ̶0;Select the operation mode for the network device̶1; message appears.
Go to and select ̶0;Automatic̶1; when the ̶0;Address Setting̶1; message appears. Select the ̶0;Do Not Set̶1; property when the ̶0;Set the DHCP host name̶1; message appears.
Select ̶0;Automatic̶1; when the ̶0;DNS Setting̶1; message displays. Select ̶0;Automatic̶1; when the ̶0;MTU̶1; message appears.
Choose the ̶0;Do Not Use̶1; option when ̶0;Proxy Server̶1; appears on the screen. Highlight and select ̶0;Enable̶1; when ̶0;UPnP̶1; is displayed.
Repeat the above steps for each PS3 console. Insert the LAN enabled game you want to play.
