How to Take Items Individually for Oblivion on the PS3

Every time you kill an enemy, come across a treasure chest or find items in "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion," you are given the ability to loot the area and claim the items for your own. You have the choice to either pick and choose what items you take or take all of the items. Since the amount of inventory you can carry is determined by the weight of the item, your strength and skills, and is displayed in the bottom left corner of the inventory screen, it may not always be prudent to take every item you stumble upon. Luckily, you can pick and choose which individual items you want to take.

     Use the PlayStation 3 controller's left analog stick to position your player directly over the body or treasure chest you want to loot.

     Use the controller's right analog stick to look down at the body or treasure chest.

   • 3

     Press the "X" button to bring up the loot screen.

   • 4

     Highlight the individual item that you want to take, and press the "X" button to add the item to your inventory.

   • 5

     Repeat Step 4 for each item that you want to take.
