Identify the console connector that corresponds with the PS3. It is the smallest of the three connector pieces.
Plug the connector piece into the video output jack of the PS3.
Consult your television's manual to determine the highest possible video connector standard the TV can accept. Alternatively, you can look on the back or side panel of your television for one of three types of video settings: component, S-video or composite.
Plug the appropriate Energizer video connector cables into the corresponding connection jacks on your television.
Insert the white and red audio plugs into the corresponding audio jacks on your television. Most television audio jacks match the colors of the audio plugs. Some have audio jacks labeled "left" and "right." In such cases, the white plug goes into the left audio jack and the red plug goes into the right audio jack.
Turn on the television and gaming console to ensure that audio and video signals are present.
