How to Hook Up a PS3 with a Multi-Cord

Video games technology has advanced but the connection remains straightforward. The multi-cord included with your PlayStation 3 game console allows you to connect the game to the component ports on your TV or other display. The multi-cord features the audio and video cables needed to send 720p resolution video and audio to the input panel on your TV. Hook up your PS3 with the cable to begin enjoying your new gaming system.

  Turn off your TV and PS3.

  Insert the flat side of the PS3 multi-cord into the AV MULTI OUT port on the rear panel of the PlayStation 3 console.

  Plug the red, green and blue ends of the multi-cord into the Component IN ports on your TV. Insert the separate red and white cables into the Audio IN ports on the TV to complete the hook up.

  Turn on your TV and the PS3. Press "Input" "Source" or "TV/Video" on the TVs remote until the image from the PS3 appears on the screen
