How to Reset Your PS3 Controller Hardware

If your PS3's wireless controller starts malfunctioning, odds are the accessory needs a battery recharge. If problems persist, you likely have a technical problem on your hands. Instead of going out and buying a new controller to get back into your game, try troubleshooting your controller by resetting the accessory to its factory default settings. Utilize the controller's built-in reset button to determine if your error can be solved by a quick reboot.
