How to Calibrate a Move Controller in Sport Champions

The PlayStation Move is a motion controller released by Sony for the PlayStation 3 in 2011. Along with the controller, Sony launched numerous games that exclusively used the Move as its means of control, including "Sports Champions." The controller comes with a calibration setting that allows you to tweak how the PlayStation 3 responds to your Move controller. When your Move controller is on, the PlayStation 3 will recognize it and add the option in its settings menu.

  Navigate to the Settings menu on your PlayStation 3.

  Select "Accessory Settings," followed by "Calibrate Motion Controller."

  Hold the Move controller you intend to calibrate. Press "X" on the Move controller.

  Test your Move controller when prompted. This allows you to ensure your controller is working improperly before tweaking its set calibration.

  Hold the controller as normal in one hand and hold the sphere at the tip with the other hand.

  Move your controller 90 degrees counterclockwise when prompted by the console. This will occur three times.

  Tilt the controller so the sphere points toward the ground when prompted. Tilt the controller so the sphere points toward the ceiling when prompted. The console will process the calibration automatically.
