How to Hook Up a Rocketfish PS3 Wired Headset

The Rocketfish Wired Headset is an over-the-ear USB headset for the PlayStation 3 (PS3). It is primarily used for voice chat in games and applications that support voice chat. After connecting the Rocketfish Wired Headset to one of the PS3's USB ports, the outgoing volume for the microphone can be adjusted in the Settings menu. Only one headset can be connected to the PS3 at a time.

     Connect the Rocketfish USB headset to either USB port on the front of the PS3.

     Scroll to the "Settings" icon on the PS3 main menu. Select "Accessory Settings."

     Select "Audio Device Settings." Select "Rocketfish USB Headset." Speak into the microphone to test the volume. Adjust the microphone volume number to get the desired volume. The higher the number, the louder the microphone.
