How to Make a Primary DNS for Your PS3

The process of configuring primary DNS and other Internet-related settings is performed directly through the menus on your PS3 console. The PlayStation can obtain DNS address information in one of two ways. Either the PlayStation can obtain these addresses automatically, or a user can manually enter a specific address configuration. If connected directly to a modem or computer, the console can usually obtain these addresses automatically. If connected to a router, it may be required to enter your DNS information manually. Configure a primary DNS for your PS3 from within the console's network settings.
