How to Read PS3 Saves

Your PS3 uses save files to record your progress when playing video games. You can view certain information on a PS3 save file such as the game tile, storage size and the time it was created. You can accomplish this task by visiting the Saved Data Utility on your PS3.

Instructions

      Select the "Games" option on your PS3's XrossMediaBar.

      Scroll down to "Saved Data Utility" and press the "Circle" button.

      Select the save game you want to view saved data for and press the "Triangle" button.

    • 4

      Select "Information" and press the "Circle" button to read the save file's information.
