How to Record on PS3

The PlayStation 3 can act as a DVR and record live TV, but only in countries that use the PAL standard for TV broadcasting. All the countries in North America use NTSC exclusively. The countries that use PAL include most of Europe, Asia and Africa, and parts of South America. Countries can have different broadcast standards in different areas, so check with your local broadcasting service to find out if your area uses PAL, SECAM or NTSC standards.
