Configure USB Drive
Insert your USB flash drive into a USB port on your computer.
Click the "Start" button on the computer's taskbar; then click "Computer."
Double-click your USB drive to view the folders and files on the drive.
Click "New Folder" from the top toolbar to create a new folder. Name the folder "PS3."
Create a second folder inside the "PS3" folder and name it "SAVEDATA." The folder name must use all capital letters.
Transfer PS3 Save
Locate your PS3 save file folder on your computer. If it is a .zip file, right-click and "Unzip" or "Decompress" to extract the data into a decompressed file.
Right-click the PS3 save file folder, and select "Copy."
Navigate to the "SAVEDATA" folder that you created on your USB drive.
Right-click within the folder, and select "Paste." This will place a copy of the .PSV file on your USB drive.
Install PS3 Save
Remove the USB drive from your computer and insert it in to a USB port on your PS3.
Turn on the PS3 system, and select "Game" from the main menu.
Select "Saved Data Utility," and then select "USB Device." You will see your saved game listed.
Press the triangle button on your controller, and select "Copy." This will install the saved game to your PS3 system.
