Wired
Press the "Power" button on the front of the PS3 to turn it off. Connect an Ethernet cable to the corresponding port on the back of the PS3. Connect the other end of the cable to the "Internet" port on your AT&T DSL modem.
Press the "Power" button on the front of the PS3 to turn it on. Go to the "Settings" icon on the PS3 menu.
Scroll down and select "Network Settings." Scroll down, select "Internet Connection" and select "Enable." Select "Internet Connection Settings" and press the "X" button. Select "Easy" and wait for the PS3 to check the network configuration.
Press the "X" button to save your updated settings. Select "Test Connection." After the test completes, the PS3 will be connected to your AT&T Internet connection.
Wireless
Press the "Power" button on the front of the PS3 to turn it on. Go to the "Settings" icon on the PS3 menu. Scroll down and select "Network Settings." Scroll down and select "Internet Connection," then select "Enable." Select "Internet Connection Settings" and press the "X" button. Select "Easy" and wait for the PS3 to check the network configuration.
Select "Easy," "Wireless," "Scan" and then choose the name of the wireless network to which you want to connect. Press the "Right" button on the D-Pad to leave the network name as its default name. If the network requires a password, use the on-screen keys to enter it.
Press the "X" button to save your settings. Select "Test Connection." After the test completes, your PS3 will be connected to your AT&T Internet connection.
