"Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood" is one in series of the "Assassin's Creed" games from Ubisoft, designed to run on various consoles and personal computers. Game play takes place in the Animus, a device that simulates genetic memories of Desmond Mile's ancestor, Ezio Auditore. You can exit the Animus and explore your environment as Desmond throughout the game to gain access to hidden items in the game's database of memories, or simply to explore the town and interact with teammates in the modern world.

Look for an option titled "Exit Animus." On occasions when you can leave the Animus, the option will have an exclamation mark next to it.
