How to Blast Off at the Start in Mod Racers for the PS3

"ModNation Racers," sometimes called "Mod Racers," is a kart racing game for the PlayStation 3 console. You can customize everything in ModNation Racers, including your kart, your racer, and even the tracks you race on. You can race against AI opponents in the story mode, or hop online to race against other players from around the globe. If you time it correctly you can get a blast-off boost at the start of any race and get an immediate advantage over other racers.

     Select any race in either story mode or online competitive mode.

     Watch the countdown timer at the beginning of the race. Wait until you see the word "Go" display.

   • 3

     Press the "L1" button on your controller as soon as the word "Go" appears to get a boost start.
