How to Replace Eboots on the PS3

If a Sony PlayStation 3 game is not working because you will not or cannot update the PS3 software, you need to replace the eboot file of the game you are playing with one that will boot. Developers have created installation files that take all of the guesswork out of replacing PS3 eboot files. The package files install like other PS3 applications but simply replace the eboot file for the game that it is intended for.

Things You'll Need

  • PKG installation file (game-specific)
