How to Get a Picture on the TV From Your PS3

The Photo section of the PlayStation 3's XrossMediaBar allows you to view photos that are stored on your system's hard drive. In addition to this, it also lets you view the photos stored on USB device's such as digital cameras and cell phones. Regardless of whether the photo is stored on the system's hard drive or on a USB device, when a photo is viewed using the PS3 system, the photo is displayed on the television the PS3 is connected to, allowing you to view pictures on your TV with the PS3 quite easily.

Instructions

  1. Photos Stored on USB Devices

      Press the "Power" button on the front of the PS3 console and connect the USB device to one of the USB ports on the front of the system.

      Scroll over to the "Photo" section of the PS3 XrossMediaBar and scroll down to the removable storage device icon that represents the USB device.

      Press the "Triangle" button and select the "View All" option from the menu that appears.

      Scroll through the USB device's folders until you reach the image you want to view on the television. Press the "X" button with the image highlighted to view the image.

    Photos Stored on System's Hard Drive

      Press the "Power" button on the front of the PS3 console.

      Scroll over to the "Photo" section of the PS3 XrossMediaBar.

      Scroll through the system's photo folders until you reach the image you want to view on the television.

      Press the "X" button with the image highlighted to view the image.
