How to Hook My PS3 to My Sanyo Vizon Integrated HDTV

HDMI

  Connect one side of the HDMI cable into the "HDMI" port on the back of the PS3 and connect the other side of the HDMI cable into the "HDMI" port on the Sanyo HDTV.

  Put the Sanyo HDTV on its "HDMI" display mode. Press the "Power" button on the front of the PS3 and wait for the PlayStation logo to appear.

  Select "Yes" when asked to use the most optimized settings for the Sanyo. Select "Yes" when asked to use both audio and video through the HDMI cable. Select "Yes" when asked to automatically switch to the most optimal settings. Select "Yes" when asked to accept the settings.

Component

  Connect the flat side of the component cable to the "AV Multi Out" port on the back of the PS3.

  Connect the blue, green and red prongs on the other side of the component cable into the blue, green and red component ports on the Sanyo HDTV. Connect the separated white and red AV prongs into the AV ports on the Sanyo HDTV.

  Put the Sanyo HDTV on its "Component" display mode. Press the "Power" button on the front of the PS3 and wait for the PlayStation logo to appear.

AV

  Connect the flat side of the AV cable to the "AV Multi Out" port on the back of the PS3.

  Connect the red, white and yellow prongs on the opposite side of the AV cable into the red, white and yellow AV ports on the Sanyo HDTV.

  Put the Sanyo HDTV on its "AV" display mode. Press the "Power" button on the front of the PS3 and wait for the PlayStation logo to appear.
