How to Hook Up Driving Force GT to a PS3

The Driving Force GT is a racing wheel that allows you to play racing games such as "Gran Turismo," "Burnout Paradise" and "Need For Speed." With its 24-position real-time adjustment dial, a pedal base and a 900-degree wheel rotation, it mimics the feeling of being in a car while playing your favorite racing games. It takes only minutes to connect the Driving Force GT to your PS3 gaming console.

Instructions

  Place the Driving Force GT's wheel base on a flat surface. If you have clamps, fasten the wheel base to a table or desk. Make sure the table or desk you're using is sturdy enough to handle the motion and vibrations that may occur while playing your racing games.

  Connect the cable attached to the pedal plate to the back of the wheel base. Place the plate on a flat surface that you'll be able to reach comfortably while playing.

  Connect the USB cable attached to the wheel base to one of the four USB ports on your PS3 gaming console.

  Connect the wheel base's power adapter to an electrical outlet.

  Turn on the wheel base. Turn on your PS3 gaming console. Insert your racing game disc into the drive and start your game.
