PS3 Bluetooth Controller Instructions

The PlayStation 3 gives its users the pleasure of remaining untethered during gameplay. The wireless Bluetooth controllers allow you to control the system from anywhere within 30 feet. In order to best utilize these controllers, you'll need to understand all of their functions. You'll need to know how to turn on the system, turn off the system, charge the controller and sync the controller with another system. It may seem like a lot to pick up, but they really are simple tasks to learn.

  Press the "PS" button on the center of your controller to turn on your PlayStation 3.

  Press and hold the "PS" button with the system on to open a menu. Select "Turn off controller" or "Turn off system" and click "X."

  Connect the controller to the USB port on the PS3 using the cable provided with the system. Leave the controller connected while you watch movies or play games to charge the controller when the battery is running low. A message will display at the top-right corner of the screen to warn you when the battery is low.

  Connect your controller to a system you need to sync with. Syncing the controller allows you to use it with systems other than your own. Press the "PS" button to turn on the controller. Remove the cable when the controller is on and it will be synced and ready for play.
