How to Mod a Controller Without a Resistor

There are various ways to modify the PS3 gaming console, but a popular way to mod the PS3 controller is by adding a rapid-fire feature. This enables the gamer to add rapid-fire functionality to whatever game he is playing by simply pushing a button. This will require disassembly of the controller, but you don't need to work with loads of electrical components, like resistors. You can buy a solderless rapid-fire mod chip from many online retailers.
