Classification
The gigabyte suffixes the PlayStation 3 160GB and the PlayStation 3 320GB bear are references to the amount of storage space each PS3 Slim system's 2.5-inch Serial Advanced Technology Attachment-connected hard drive offers. Thus, the PlayStation 3 160GB offers 160 gigabytes of data storage, while the PlayStation 3 320GB doubles that amount with 320 gigabytes. This leads to a variance in price; the manufacturer's suggested retail price, at the time of publication, is $300 for the 160GB and $350 for the 320GB.
