How to Get More Shrouds in Final Fantasy XIII

"Final Fantasy XIII" incorporates a shroud system that allows you to begin battle with a number of defensive and offensive enhancements applied to your entire party. This can give you a significant competitive advantage in battle, but they must be used wisely, because shrouds are a limited resource that can only be found in item containers.

     Locate an item container within the map by exploring. These containers are spherical and float.

     Walk up to the container; a dialog menu will appear telling you to press a button.

     Press the button listed on your screen. The container will open and you'll immediately receive the shroud.
