How to Edit Game Codes on the PS3

The PlayStation 3 (PS3) has sold more than 50 million units, making it one of the most popular gaming consoles in the world. With the help of modern technology, PS3 game codes can be edited and applied to the games as "patches." While patches were initially intended to correct programming errors in games that caused lags and glitches they can now be used by anybody with a basic video game coding background to apply extra functionality to games. You can use a program called the PS3 Fast File Tool to edit PS3 game files and package the new code in a clean patch ready to apply to your PS3 game.

Instructions

Download, install and run the PS3 Fast File tool.

    • 2
