How to Hook a PS3 to a Sanyo Model Number DS27930

The Sanyo DS2730 is a flat-screen TV that supports gaming connections. Although a PS3 gaming console emits content in high definition, the DS2730 only supports standard-definition connections, a lower resolution that relies on an AV cable. Connecting your gaming console to your TV is a quick process. Within minutes, you can begin playing your favorite games, watching movies, listening to music or browsing the Internet.

  Locate the AV connector port on the back of your PS3.

  Connect the AV connector on the cable to the AV connector on the back of your PS3, and then connect the three pins (yellow, red and white) to any of the open RCA inputs on the back of your TV. The RCA inputs are also color-coded (yellow, red and white), so match them. The yellow pin is for video signals, and the red and white pins are for audio signals.

  Turn on your TV, and then turn on your gaming console.

  Press the "Input" button on your TV or remote control and select "Video 1" or "Video 2" depending on the RCA ports you connected your gaming console to. You should see your PS3's XMB menu displayed on the screen.
