How to Hook Up the Internet Connection to Your PS3 Wired

The PlayStation 3 has many online features that are only accessible via the PlayStation Network. To connect to the PlayStation Network, the PS3 must first be connected to your home's Internet connection. A wired connection using the PS3's Ethernet port provides the most reliable connection, as it is not susceptible to interference and random connection drops associated with wireless connections.
