How to Hook Up Cymbals on PS3

One of the unique things about the Rock Band video game for the PS3 game console is that it comes with various instruments that the players use in the game. One of these instruments is the drum kit, which needs to be setup beforehand just like a real drum kit. Part of the setup includes attaching the cymbals.

Instructions

  Set up the Rock Band drum kit according to the instruction manual for the game and position the kit in front of your TV and PS3 console.

  Remove the cymbals from the packaging. Along with the cymbals you should have two support poles as well as two connector clamps.

  Open the ends of the clamps by flipping the switch in the middle of the clamp.

  Insert one of the poles, thread end facing up, into one of the pole holes in the clamp.

  Place the clamp end against one of the two support poles for the drum kit. Flip the switch to secure the clamp.

  Open another clamp using the switch and insert the remaining cymbal support hole into the pole hole.

  Place the clamp end against the remaining drum kit support and flip the switch to secure it.

  Screw the cymbals on top of the threaded ends of the cymbal support poles.
