Instructions
Standard AV
Insert the rectangular side of the AV cable into the "AV Multi Out" port on the back of the PS3.
Connect the yellow, white and red prongs on the opposite side of the AV cable into the "yellow," "white" and "red" AV inputs on TV.
Change the TV to its AV video display mode. Some TVs refer to this mode as Video, Input or something similar. Turn the PS3 on and wait for the logo to appear on-screen.
S-Video
Insert the rectangular side of the S-video cable into the "AV Multi Out" port on the back of the PS3.
Connect the grey prong on the opposite side of the S-video cable into the "S-video" input on the TV. Connect the red and white audio prongs next to the grey prong into the "red" and "white" audio inputs next to the S-video input.
Change the TV to its S-video video display mode. Turn the PS3 on and wait for the logo to appear on-screen.
Component
Insert the rectangular side of the component cable into the "AV Digital Out" port on the back of the PS3.
Connect the large green, blue and red component prongs into the "green," "blue" and "red" component inputs on the TV. Connect the smaller white and red AV prongs into the "white" and "red" AV inputs on the TV.
Change the TV to its component video display mode. Turn the PS3 on and wait for the logo to appear on-screen. Follow the instructions on-screen to optimize the component connection for the TV.
