How to Hook Up Your PS3 to a TV That Doesn't Have HDMI

The PlayStation 3 is a high definition gaming and media device that supports video connections for both standard and high-definition TVs. If you're using a standard definition TV, your connection options are limited to standard AV and S-video. If you're using an HDTV, the component and HDMI video connections will provide the best video quality, though standard AV and S-video may also be supported. If your TV does not have an HDMI port or it is inoperable, it should have at least one other video connection option.
