How to Get Real Player on the PS3

The Sony PlayStation 3 is compatible with WAV, ATRAC, MP3, MP4, AAC, MPEG, MPEG2, AVI, DivX and WMV music and video file formats. The PS3 does not support Real Player files. The only way to play Real Player files on a PS3 is to use third-party software, such as "TVersity" or "Orbs" to stream media content from your computer to your PS3. These programs feature codecs capable of decoding the stream into a format the PS3 can understand.
