How to Hook-Up a PS3 to a Verizon MiFi 2200 2B03

The Verizon MiFi 2200 is a mobile hotspot that connects your computer and five additional wireless devices to the Verizon broadband service for high-speed Internet browsing. It also includes support for a wireless connection with a PlayStation 3(PS3). The MiFi must be configured for Wi-Fi mode prior to connecting it to the PS3 because the MiFi creates a network that is detectable by wireless devices while powered on. Once configured, the PS3 displays the MiFi network in its network list.

Instructions

    • 1

Push the power button on the MiFi 2200 and power on your computer.

    • 2

Click the network icon on the computer's task bar in the lower-right corner of the desktop screen. Click "MiFi2200."

    • 3

Launch your computer's Internet browser and enter "http://192.168.11" in the browser's address bar.
