How to Attach Your PS3 to a Trutech TV

When you get your PlayStation 3 home and tear into the box you want to get the system hooked up to your television so you can get your video gaming on. Connecting the PS3 to a Trutech televison you will use the RCA inputs on the back of the Trutech. The inputs on the television include yellow video input and two audio inputs for stereo sound colored red and white. The PS3 comes with an A/V cable that will plugs into the Trutech inputs.

Instructions

  Remove the A/V cable from the PS3 box. The cable will have a flat plug on one end and three plugs on the other end colored yellow, red and white.

  Locate the output on the PS3 unit marked "AV Multi Out" and insert the flat end of the A/V cable into the slot.

  Locate the RCA inputs on the back of the Trutech televison marked "IN." There is a yellow input on top of a red and white input.

  Insert the A/V cable into the inputs on the back of the Trutech television starting with the white plug going into the white input. Starting with the white plug on the bottom and working your way up will make it easier for you to access the other inputs. Insert the red plug into the red input and then the yellow plug into the yellow input.

  Plug the power cord into the PS3 where it is marked "AC In" and plug the other end into the wall outlet. Press the "Power" button on the front of the PS3 to turn the unit on.

  Press the "Input" button on the Trutech remote control to switch the television to the input the PS3 is connected to. The video coming from the PS3 will appear on the screen.
