How to Hook Up My Triton Headphones and Speaker on PS3

Tritton headsets are listening devices that can improve your gaming experience. They come with a built-in 5.1 surround sound speaker system that includes a total of eight speakers, four in each cup. Tritton headsets enable you to hear gaming and movie effects designed specifically for surround sound speakers. Connecting and setting up your Tritton headsets is a quick process that takes minutes to complete.

  Connect the optical cable into the back of your PS3, and then connect it to the rear of the Silver AX Pro Dolby Digital &Pro Logic Audio controller that comes with your Tritton headset.

  Connect the USB cable into an open USB port on your PS3, and then connect it to the USB port on your controller.

  Plug the AX Pro round nine-pin plug into the controller.

  Turn on your gaming console, and then turn on your TV.

  Select "Settings," "Accessory Settings," and then select "Audio Device Settings."

  Select "C-Media USB Audio Device" in the "Input" and "Output" sections. Look at the microphone graph bar on your screen and speak into the microphone on the headset. The graph bar should move, indicating an incoming signal.

  Check the mute bar and increase the volume if you don't see a signal.

  Check the "Dolby Digital" light on your controller when your game or movie starts. It should illuminate.
