Things You'll Need
Instructions
Turn off the unit from the front panel. Allow the console to cool for 30 minutes at minimum, or until it feels cool to the touch.
Remove the device from any enclosed cabinet space. You may choose to leave it outside of the space if the problem repeats under heavy use.
Wipe the vents free of dust with the damp rag. Blow away any residual vent blockages with short bursts of compressed air. Be sure to hold the can upright at all times to prevent it from spraying moisture into the console.
Turn the console back on, ensuring four inches of clearance around all sides of the device at minimum. Monitor the console for indications that air is flowing through the console, and that no warning lights are flashing on the front panel.
