Things You'll Need
Instructions
Plug the component video cable in the back of the PS3's "A/V" port.
Plug the other end of the component video cable into the matching red, blue and green jacks on the component to VGA transcoder. Plug the transcoder into AC power, if necessary.
Plug a 15-pin VGA cable from the VGA output of the transcoder. Plug the other end to the VGA input on the Wells-Gardner monitor. Tighten the thumbscrews on both of the VGA cable's plugs to secure the cable in place.
Ensure the master power switch is activated on the back of the PS3. This is indicated by the presence of a solid red light on the front of the console, as it is in standby mode.
Press and hold the "Power" button on the front panel of the PS3 for five seconds. Wait for the first beep. Release the power button and hold it for another five seconds. The video is reset to 640 by 480 resolution after the second beep.
Turn on the PlayStation 3 first, then the Wells Gardner monitor. You should now see an image on the display.
